Each participant will design a Highland Cow painting and experiment with masking fluid techniques. These paint workshops are designed for beginners, allowing participants to create unique artworks in casual group settings. 


Please select the listed watercolor supplies or available kit for the session. Once purchased, you do not need to repurchase the brushes and paints for upcoming watercolor workshops. You may also use your own supplies during the session.


Supplies needed:

  • Various watercolor paintbrushes (#2, #4, #6 round recommended)
  • Watercolor Paper (four 5" x 7" sheets or watercolor sketchbook)
  • Watercolor Paint (pans, tubes, or liquid paint)
  • Liquid Masking Fluid/Frisk
  • Plastic palette, plate, or container if using tube or liquid paints
  • Paper towels & cup of water
  • Pencil

  • Masking Fluid/Frisk sampler (15 ml)
  • Cotman Watercolor Sampler dot card (colors match design example)
  • Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Pocket Box (12 half pans with brush)
  • Proarte Polar Brush Set (includes #1, #4, #6 Round & 3/8" Flat brushes)
  • 140 lb. Heavyweight Acid-Free Watercolor Paper (2 A4-sized sheets & swatch paper)
  • 6-well watercolor mixing palette
  • 11-well watercolor mixing palette
